Bill Clinton said yesterday: "Jesse Jackson won South Carolina in '84 and '88. Jackson ran a good campaign. And Obama ran a good campaign here." Depressingly, the facts seem to support Clinton's racist spin as the AP reports: "About half the voters were black, according to polling place interviews, and four out of five of them supported Obama." Similarly, 3 out of 4 So. Carolina's white Democrats voted for white candidates.
